Main Building

Yesterday we went to the History Museum adn then to the Zoo. The History Museum was cool, we observed all the exhibits then we went to the Zoo and did the same thing but it was more like just roaming around the heat but it wasn't to bad.

It's about to be the last week of the summer and it's been a lot of fun. The teens in my group have been working on their exhibit prototypes the entire summer and earlier this week were able to present them and receive feedback from visitors. They were able to gain presentation experience along with working on their customer service skills. Next week we will be visiting several museum in the area to see how other professionals in the field build their exhibits.

Hi! Recently, we moved into the Main Building. We presented our exhibit prototypes to the visitors of the Science Center and got some feedback. Today, we went to the Taylor Building and we did some science experiments and we had a question & answer session with college students from across the country. It has been a pretty productive week.

Today we went to the Taylor Center and experimented different science projects. Then we look at some nice robots......people are really creative.

I really enjoyed the Washington University students. I learned a lot during the different stations. I learned about DNA extractions, cells, and lots of helpful information about college admissions and what to expect during college life. I really enjoyed talking to Ajay from WashU he was very engaging and he gave us lots of advice that will help me be successful in the future.

Well today was a fairly good day. We paid a visit to the Taylor Building and a panel of college students came and spoke to us about their college experience and it was very enlightening. In a nutshell, the day was very fun and I enjoyed the different activities I participated in.

The time that i have been at the science center have been good.I have learn a hole new way to look at science...
