College Financing Workshop a success!
Submitted by Tim on Mon, 02/12/2007 - 9:04pm. YES | City Science | College Prep | Community Partners | Community Partnerships | Designing Teens | Learning Places | Saint Louis | YES-2-Tech | Special EventsOur first college workshop was this weekend and it went pretty well. Attendance was high as The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis presented information on 0% interest loans and Missouri MO$T presented information on tax-free college savings programs. Parents and teens also stayed to learn about free scholarship databases and how to recognize financing scams.
If you weren't able to attend this workshop, don't worry. We will be hosting two more events this Spring, one in March and one in April. If you would like any information from the College Financing Workshop, contact Tim Mulhall (me) at mulhallt@gmail.com and I will forward what I can.
