Designing Teens

 

 Today we made roller coasters that had to have certain features such as hills, valleys, loops and ect . The roller coaster you see in the picture is the feature of a hill.  Taping it to the wall to hold it up was very helpful so that it could stay up. At the end of the rollercoaster was a can so that when you rolled the marble down the rollercoaster it flew into the can. Try It!!

 

 

my name is Najwa and today me and my gorup made robts in our session . What i used to make  my sktech arts was cholthes pins ,markers,a milk cart and wire ,and batteries.. it was hard at frist but i got a hang of it when brandon came so thanks ..but next we are going to a video on our robots so that will be cool ... but today was nice i had fun doing this poject ..and hopefully i will get to show some other teens ..

My name is Kevin and today we made sketch robots. I made my sketch robot out of: 4 clothes pins, 1 Dixie cup, 1 motor, 1 AAA battery, 1 craft stick, 1 marker, and some tape. How I made the sketch robot is I put the 4 clothes pins on the rim of the cup and I spaced them out evenly.Then I flipped the cup upside down. Then I put the craft stick the spinning part of the motor. Then I put the motor with the craft stick on the top of the cup (which is really the bottom). Then I put together the motor to the battery and I put some tape on the battery and put it on the side of the cup. I then put the marker on the side of the cup and i put it low enough to touch the paper so it could draw.

Today we made robots out of wire,cartons, tape,sticks,and batteries. It was kind of hard because some of the wires broke and the batteries were going out. After getting the robot to work, it was still boring. 

Today in Saturday Learning Lab we made sketch robots again....It was all good but it took me a while to make mine because the batttery and the motor kept on messing up but all in all it was good...until next bye 

School has been boring so far this year.  I think its boring to me because im a junior and im really ready to graduate and im kind of rushing it. Today our design challenge was to make a skech robot. I did the activity before several times but it was still complicated. The hardest part to me was trying the keep the wires on the motor taped down to the battery. After a couple of chances trying, I finally got it to work!
