Volunteers

The Yes Program always welcome extra mentor-ship from people willing to lend a hand in the lives of our teens so we developed our Adult Volunteer Program.

We are looking for adults who like asking questions, solving problems, listening, coaching, and tinkering

If you want to make a difference in the life of a teen, then this is the volunteer opportunity for you: Be a YES Program Mentor!

What you will do as a mentor: 

• Interact directly with no more than 4 youth at a time
• Participate with youth in exploring science through hands on activities
  
• Present a friendly, positive, proactive and professional image to the youth

What you need to be a mentor:

• Desire to make a positive impact on a young person's life
• Comfort with science, mathematics, or technology content

Program Calendar
The YES Program meets most Saturdays September through May. There are flexible opportunities available between 8:30am and 4:30pm most Saturdays. You may choose from the following time slots:

            8:30am - 11:30am

            11:30am - 1:00PM

            1:00pm - 4:00pm
