 <title>Total Lunar Eclipse</title>
 <link>http://www.youthexploringscience.com/node/2321</link>
<description>Did you make it out last night to see the total lunar eclipse? It was pretty neat, although I had to lean for a good vantage point on my fire escape and it was a little too cloudy to see much. Still, eclipses are always fun because they can remind you of something that&#039;s really easy to forget: that we are riding something that is spinning really quickly (in St. Louis about 500 mph) on something hurtling through space around a star which is hurtling itself through the galaxy. Somehow it all works and, for me, seeing an eclipse is like meeting one of the actors in your favorite show. Suddenly all this awesome stuff doesn&#039;t feel like you have to watch it on TV, you can actually be there!
