Astronomy

Today we learned about making telescopes out of toilet paper roles, constellation, we had to find the rising and sunset time for the next three days.

Today I had a great time creating and learning about telescopes. Telescopes can be created by taking two toilet paper rolls after all the tissue has been used and cut one and place it inside of the other. But before you do that first you must place aluminum foil on the top of one empty roll and then on the other wrap a piece of wax paper tape them down then go outside and explore. HAVE FUN!!!

Today we learned about telescopes and the origin. We also figured out the sunset and sunrise time of Missouri. I liked today better than last week because everyone wasn't so timid to communicate with each other. Even though I'm the only SENIOR in the afternoon group of Astronomy, i still connected with the underclassmen known as the baby teens. We get along very well as a whole and have no drama and that's a plus.

creating telescope was pretty fun, but seeing threw them was interesting. the images were upside down, something i didn't expect .

Working in the astronmy group has taught me alot of news thingss.One of the new things i learned today is how to make a telescope also called a pinhole viewer.

Dylan is the name...i've been here for 3 years and 14 weeks and i have yet to write about anyhing but Tim and Frank unusaul combination but i think that this Astronomy session will be interesting so I think i'll have something to look foward to. But like I said i don't have much to talk about but i'll get there EVENTUALLY!!
