Diane Miller, Vice President, Community Programs and Partnerships
Diane Miller is the Vice President of Community Science Programs and Partnerships at the Saint Louis Science Center. Her overall responsibilities include initiating, developing, coordinating, and implementing STEM programs and collaborative projects with community-based organizations, underserved audiences, interns, and youth. Working with community-based organizations, she is responsible to develop strategies that increase the involvement of audiences not usually reached by the Saint Louis Science Center. Diane was the project director and program developer for two YouthALIVE! grants, one for the California Science Center (formerly the California Museum of Science and Industry) and one for the Saint Louis Science Center. She was a member of the YouthALIVE! steering committee and responsible for co-planing and co-facilitating national network meeting. A main focus of her job is to design and management of programs that utilize the environment and galleries of the Saint Louis Science Center, and development of comprehensive inviting curriculum that nurtures and interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. Diane holds a BA in English from the California State University at Chico and is currently pursing a Masters in Museums Studies at the University of Missouri - St Louis.

Siinya Riley, Community Partnerships Manger, Community Programs and Partnerships
Siinya Riley has been with the Saint Louis Science Center for 15 years. With a degree in Business, she serves as the Community Partnerships, Events and Internships Manager. Siinya’s current positions consists of implementing and leading community events designed to increase comfort level of under-served communities with considering the Saint Louis Science Center as a useful resource. She also strengthens relationships with current community partners, and recruit and secure relationships with new ones throughout the St. Louis area.Siinya resides in the St. Louis County area, and is at this time having the time of her life enjoying her new and first grandson!
Cindy Graville-Smith, Educational Technology Manager, Community Programs and Partnerships
Brandon Byrd, Community Science Cordinator, City Science
Brandon started off in the YES program and loved it so much he decided to stay on as a supervisor. Brandon has the unique ability to take his personal experiences as a former YES teen to make him the outstanding supervisor he is today. Brandon works with City Science and focuses his work in the wet lab. Brandon is continuing his education at Webster University and working towards a B.A. in Education.
Missy Miller, Community Science Coordinator, City Science
Missy Miller joined the YES staff in June of 2006. She has a BA in Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2001), as well as a Masters of Art in Teaching from Webster University (2005). After moving to St. Louis in January of 2002, she discovered her love for teaching while substituting for Riverview Gardens School District. Currently Missy works in the City Science component of YES, where she focuses on Environmental Science. In addition, Missy runs monthly Family Science Night’s, where she enjoys getting to know YES friends and families! Missy stays busy by chasing her daughter Maya and her two cats Eddie and Oliver.
Meesa Olah, Community Science Coordinator, City Science
Meesa graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Murray State University and continued her education at Springfield College where she graduated with a M.Ed. in Psychology. Meesa works with City Science and is focusing on work with renewable energy. She also facilitates the science after school activities with Fanning and Action Social after school programs.
Lady Gywanna Jackson, Project Manager, Learning Places
Lady Gywanna F. Jackson is the Learning Places Project Manager for the Saint Louis Science Center. She served as an education teacher for the Saint Louis Public School District for 8 years. Lady Gywanna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tuskegee University in Elementary Education. Since 2002 Lady Gywanna has led two NSF grants in the Community Science Department (YES) Youth Exploring Science Program. She currently resides in O'Fallon, Illinois with her son Brian.

Frank Mack, Community Science Coordinator, YES-2-TECH
Frank Mack joined the YES staff in October 2006. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering, Systems Management, and Engineering Management. Over his lengthy career(s), he’s been involved in many aspects of classroom teaching, youth engineering and science outreach programs, and professional engineering. He has a particular interest in aerospace and aviation activities.
Joining the YES staff in January of 2007, Tim has adjusted from Science Center intern to his new responsibiltiy as a staff member. Tim has a great passion for working with the St. Louis area youth. With the strong desire to be an integral part of the positive change occuring in St. Louis, Tim devotes his time and energy to making sure his work is successful. Tim will be working with Jessica Castiglioni and LaKisha McPike in City Science this school year, focusing on the human body and the systems within. Tim graduated from Saint Louis University in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He is currently completing his Master's of Social Work (MSW) program at Saint Louis University and intends to graduate in May 2008. This summer, Tim married his college sweetheart and they live happily in University City.
