Science Firsthand

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the Science Firsthand grant is a public audience program for urban youth, ages 10-15.  A collaboration between the Saint Louis Science Center, the National Wildlife Federation, and First Hand Learning, Inc., this program pairs young people with adult mentors as they investigate interesting scientific concepts.  The investigation teams, supported by professional scientists, work together to explore a topic inspired by questions and wonderings about observed phenomena.
