Plants

Atmospheric Science
Today we studied all types of plants like the Venus fly trap and bamboo sticks. We learned about what plants are made of and why they are important.

Today's experience

YES
Today we learned about plants and how Important they are to living and nonliving things. And we learned the characteristics of the bamboo plant it was a very cool because the bamboo plant grows 2ft a day.

Plants

Atmospheric Science
Today we observed what plants are made of, how are they useful, and what do plants need to survive. My group observed the Aloe Vera plant. Aloe Vera is found in lotion, shampoo, and even drinks. the yellow liquid inside the plant is really stinky and bitter though.

Observation

Atmospheric Science
Today we worked observation plants characteristics.

Atmospheric Science

YES
Today, we learned about plants. We went over all the characteristics of living things and we made posters with our groups about plants. On the poster we had to answer 3 questions; what is a plant, why re plants important, and what are plants made out of? After we answered those questions we learned at plants are made out of carbon, oxygen, water, and hydrogen. After that we observed different plants that have different adaptions. I learned you can eat rose petals, aloe has yellow blood, tomato plants are poisonous, and there is a plant that looks like a rock to stay safe.

Learning About Living Things

YES | Atmospheric Science
Today we learned the seven characteristics of living things. I learned that the leaves on tomato plants are poisonous and only the actual tomato is edible. Plants are important because they clean our water, soil and air. They also store energy. Today was a fun and educating day.

Today proceeded lackadaisically in that it was mainly writing and presenting and there wasn't much discussion in an entire component type of way. It was interesting to see the Venus fly traps and different others.
