Hello this is Gregory here to talk about the activity I did in Learning Lab Saturday. We talked about INQUIRY and what it would be like to be the teacher and the kid. I didnt do very well as being a teacher, because the kid kept throwing very cahallenging questions that made me think deeply into the activity. When it was my turn to be the kid, I tried giving questions that would be very challenging, but from experience, the teacher (Alicia) answered with clarification. At the end of that activity, we had to talk about the PROS & CONS about what it like being those two subjects. 

Today we took a test on Strength Quest. This test was suppose to tell us what our top five strengths are. I found out that my top five strengths are , Responsibility, Relator, Woo, Ideation, and strategic. When I saw what my strengths were i was kind of surprised but in a way the test was right. The test made me realize that I am all of those things that they say i am. I am glad we had the chance to take the Strength Finder and i hope it will help me in the long run.....thanks.

Today is my first day back in Learning Places after the first semester and we did some neat things today that could help us gain better teaching skills. We discussed conventional and inquiry teaching. I think it was a great activity because it gave pointers on what I could do to make something more exciting. But today was a good day.

Hi my name is Natalie and I am a STEM Develper for Learning Places. Today our group focused more on finding out and practicing the true meaning of inquiry. We did Student and teacher scenarios so that we could understand from both sides how our inquiry teaching skills could improve. I feel that today had alot of meaning and was very important.

    Today in Yes-2-tech we did presentations. What i presented to the group was how solar power cars run. There have not been a solar powered car made, but we made a model of one. We talked about solar power, renewable energy, and solar panels. Solar power is used for two things for heat and for a energy source. Renewable energy is also called "clean energy" because, it doesn't pollute the air or water. Solar panels is a device that collects and convert solar energy into electricity or heat.

 Today we presented for our workshop at the big Science Center on Sunday the group that I am in is doing the windmill and how much energy it will make with the win.
