Summertime Science "Handy Garden"

YES
I am in summertime science and the first activity us yes teens did with the children was the Handy Garden. The Handy Garden is a project where you plant 5 different seeds in a glove without using dirt or soil. We planted a red bean, lima bean, two types of grass, and a black bean with cotton balls and a little bit of water. The children really loved the activity because it helped them explore different ways to plant seeds and they were able to plant five seeds of their own, that they were able to take home with them and watch grow. Some of them didn't know for sure if they were gong to grow or not but the ones we made have been growing real good. We hung them up in the window for display of previous activites we have done and they have been growing alot.

What a really great description. This is a nice way of getting the information across to someone who might be reading.
