Mixing in Math

Mixing in Math is a grant program funded by the National Science Foundation awarded to TERC in partnership with the Saint Louis Science Center.  Mixing in Math is a set of math-based activities that are integrated into pre-existing after-school curriculum.  St. Louis Science Center staff teaches the Mixing in Math activities to community partners, and the partners then use the activities in after-school programming in order to help children understand the way math impacts many aspects of daily life, from telling time to spending money.
