Expose. Explore. Empower.  This is the goal of the Forest Park Southeast Development Corporation and the St. Louis Science Center as they announce the inaugural 2007 Blacks in Science Awards Program in honor of the lifetime achievements of legendary St. Louis scientists, Dr. Lincoln Diuguid.

The awards banquet culminates Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the St. Louis Science Center from 6-9p.m.  Over 200 scientists, physicians, educators, students and businesses are expected.  Live entertainment and dinner will be provided.  Cost per attendee is $30.00 for regular tickets and $85.00 for VIP tickets.

The mission of Blacks In Science Awards Program is to utilize science as a platform to explose African American and disadvantaged youth to the field of science, connect students with science professionals like Dr. Duiguid and to encourage students to explore the many facets of science programs  involved.
