Today our component discussed the food pyramid and the many effects that fast food could have on the body. In a study that our group read, we learned that food can be as addicting as drugs. The hard part of the discussion was figuring out whether or not the government should be involved in regulating what people eat and the amounts of fast food restaurants that are located in poor communities. Ultimately our group decided that it would be best if the government educated our youth about the harmful effects of fast food, and what makes it so addicting.

Today was a fun day. We where looking up what scientist do for a living, and that it's not easy to to be one.

Today we learned about how eating fast food is like being on drugs.

Well we cleaned up outside, the science corner. We were going to do the green house to but the grass was way too high. And we did a project about silence experiments and stuff, talked about a article and that's it.

Today we went outside and cleaned up the Science Corner. We were going to clean up the greenhouse but the grass had grown over excessively. We are going to turn the Science Corner into a farm & have a farmer's market. I can't wait to get started!

We cleared science corner in the heat, which wasnt fun. We talked about the effects of food on society and culture. It was interesting hearing the things about our government. I didn't know there were so many food deserts.

today was fun, we made deviled eggs and made faces out of food.
