Today we were supposed to fo in a field trip but it was canceled because the school was on spring break so we were disappointed. Well we tested soil. We changed light bulbs had a discussion on the soil testing and had lunch an now we are blogging !

lead or not?

Agriscience
Today in agriscience we tested soil from science corner. Each group tested for something different. My group in particular tested for lead. Our process takes approximately 4hours. So we are predicting that it will have lead in it,but we are waiting patiently.. :)

Different

Well I was expecting to go on the Gateway field trip today, but unfortunately, due to the ignorance of the spring break custodians of our coming, we were not allowed to come this week. Instead we tested soil and observed a cat, dog and chicken. The cat and dog were okay, but the chicken wasn't fat enough to eat yet. Disappointing........................

A day in Atmospheric Science

Atmospheric Science
Today we went over to Science Corner and grabbed some soil from different areas on science corner. Then we worked in groups and each group did soil test on the soil. My group tested our soil to see if our soil had lead in it.

Soil samples

YES
Today we created a soil sample and tested it with nitrogen, phosphorus, lead, and potassium tablets. Next we wrote our results in our notebooks. This experiment's purpose was to see what the soil in the science corner needs to become more rich.
