Continuing work at Adams has really been good. The 4th graders have shown a lot of intrest and proven thier ability to really go past our expectations as far as what we think they know. THe specefic grade level my group teaches is 4th grade. We broke them up in groups of five or six and each teen is assigned to a group. My group has 3 girls and 2 boys. One of the boys in my group is really smart and has shown the potential to really be something great. Sometimes however, he gets distracted, when this happens he really gets off task. I try to give him more attention so he can stay on task andperform to the level i know he can. Besides that everything is going good and i really like teaching at Adams.

I have had a lot of fun with the fourth grade class. they are learning a lot. last week we brought in an enviro scape, which is a model of the city to show how pollution effects the environment and how it travels through the ecosystem. they took a lot of it and had a lot of fun making a giant mess.

teaching has been very fun and easy the students are great listeners. although they are the loud side they still do as they are told. i have not really come a cross any major challenges this summer with teaching.

 

As I teach, I konw there is a big difference in teaching the fourth graders and the fifth graders. The fifth graders are more mature than the fourth graders but they tend to play alot too, the fourth graders do play alot but they try their hardest and that is what makes them so unique 

Today we went to the main buliding to see a movie. The movie that we saw was Hurricane on the Bayou. I seen it like 50,000 times already but its was a good movie.  It was about this girl and how her and her family went through Hurricane Katrina.  We went to go watch the movie because next week were going to teach the kids about hurricanes.

So far the summer is going ok so far

Making the aquariums and terrariums were fun to do with the kids. The Terrariums were easier to me. Over the weekend the crickets all died. Besides that everything else went good
