Turbo wind base
Submitted by William002 on Sat, 03/05/2011 - 1:45pm. YES
today we where working on trying to make our wind turbine base (WTB) go faster. we played with many type of wing styles such as square, oval, and point. i found for my WTB that the oval wings made it spin faster. i also found out that if the wings are to close they will not spin at all. well thats what we did today.

Causes Of Climate Change
Submitted by William002 on Sat, 10/23/2010 - 12:27pm. YES
There are many causes of climate change. The causes of climate change can be divided into two categories - those that are due to natural causes and those that are created by man. Some natural causes are things like Continental drift, and Volcanoes. Human causes are things like Greenhouse gases and their sources.
Continental draft, about 200 million years ago they were joined together! Scientists believe that back then, the earth was not as we see it today, but the continents were all part of one large landmass.his drift also had an impact on the climate because it changed the physical features of the landmass, their position and the position of water bodies. Now when a volcano erupts it throws out large volumes of sulphur dioxide (SO2), water vapour, dust, and ash into the atmosphere. The gases and dust particles partially block the incoming rays of the sun, leading to cooling.
The Greenhouse gases and their sources,Carbon dioxide is undoubtedly, the most important greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. Changes in land use pattern, deforestation, land clearing, agriculture, and other activities have all led to a rise in the emission of carbon dioxide. so as u can see the causes of climate change are natural well as human made.
