Y.E.S program

Agriscience
Working at the Science Center has been very fun these past three years. Now as a senior in high school, I often reflect and look back on the day when I first started the Y.E.S program. I can honestly say that working in the Youth Exploring Science Program was worth worth my while, the four I was here. Working With the children in the summer time and learning new things was most fun because I like working with kids, learning new things was a plus for me. I learned about localvores, carbon footprints and etc. Also while working in the Y.E.S program I have made several associates that I will never forget.

Is the Rocky Alien Planet Gliese 581d Really Habitable?

YES
this aticle is about wondering if life is abe to live on another planet called Gliese 581d. A rocky alien planet called Gliese 581 d may be the the first world  other than earth, being able to carry life as we know it. The new studies predicts that  Gliese 581d is about seven times bigger than earth and has a thick carbon-dioxide based atmosphere. To determine conclusively if Gliese 581d is truely habitable, future work will probably have to detect and characterize its atmotphere directly.

Offsite Science

This summer i really enjoyed myself working at the different sites. the children at Matthews Dickey's and Conflunce really made my time worth while. My favorite  part of the days is when we would do the ice breakers with them. With all the different personalitites, stlyes, and attitudes. Sometimes it got out of control, but it was fun to deal with overall.
