today we work with a different age rage of kids. when the first groop got there we started off with an icebreaker. the icebreaker that we played was to be able to rememeber people names and a food that stared with the letter of there name.but the last person had to remeber everything. afther we did bottle rocket with the kids. they had a lot of fun. when that was finished the kids left and we talked about the differenet colleges of our choice...

today we went to adams school to do activites and teach the kids about plants. we work with 10 year olds.first we stated with a icebreaker thats called click.the object of the game is to pair up with the number of student that the teacher calls. like if the teacher were to call 3 u would have to pair with the 3 students and if theres more or less the 3 that group is out. after that the students were told to pick a plant and bring back in the building so that u can draw what it looks like. finally everybody explained there picture and it was time to go.....

today we went to girl inc. to teach the girls about optical illusion. after we introduced the topic we handed out a sheet of paper that had differnet colored circles with numbers in them. they had to look at the picture and tells us what numbers were in the circle. but it was kind of hard to see the numbers becasue they were really light. I had two partners and they both could see the numbers very well. then we did an activity where you had to make two circle, cut them out, draw something on one side then the other side,make two holes, put string through them,tie the strings together, twiss it togther and then the 2 picture that you made would come together as one picture. my partners made a heart and an arrow, so when we spin the cricles it will look like the arrow is going through the heart, as one picture. every one enjoyed the activity an was excited about what they were doing.

I think learning place is a great place for me because I get to enter-act with kids,and work with kid around my age. In learining place we get to be ourself's and express our feelings. I love trying new things and having fun while working.
