Today we did a lot of activities in our group.After we came back fom science corner we did some work with soil. We examined and made observations about two different Types, one from science corner and regular potting soil. We also tested the ph level in the soil which was interesting. It was funny when Chevon didn't know how to open the color tablets and it was easy. It was kind of sad because my friends Alex and Alan weren't here, Alan is funny he always makes me laugh.                                                                                                                                         Au Revoir, LAMAR

Today I switched to my new comaponent and the day hasn't been pretty bad. Everyone In the group is nice to me and I apprieciate that so much. Goin back out on science corner took some getting used to but I quickly got back into it. We also looked at pond scum which was gross but kind of cool. All in All it's been a good day

Today we taught the environmental science group. And i have to say as my first time teaching, and being in the spotlight it was horrible. I had trouble speaking up and couldnt gain control of the group. But i also felt that when i did have their attention my point was made.

What can i say its been a few years since I last blogged. I just graduated last month and this is my last summer in the program. I am in Scijourn now but will soon be swithching over to environmental science. I want to be a teacher now, I want to teach secondary education and the subject is english. We have been teaching for about two days and its been goin pretty good its giving me the expierience i will need.

This is my first blog since i've been back to work. I took a few years off and then came back. This time around the whole program has changed and i am now in Science Corner. Some things are the same like college prep and learning places. I am having a great time with my new friends Naja, Alan, Alex, and Malik. I am rally enjoying cooking in our component. In our component we do a lot of things like growing our own vegetables,learning about eating more healthy, and learning about organic materials. This is going to be a great semester.

Last saturday we made vitrines it was an awesome experence that gave us a lot of knowledge. We knida needed this activity because when we do the real vitirines we will konw what to do when we do the real ones. We also learned how to work as a team and cooperate. Well thats all i have to say for now so buy.

Today we made our own exhibits it was pretty fun.I worked with andrea she cool sometimes.Our exhibit was on a dietary supplement called airborne.What i did was find pitchures of it and get basic information.We also put the information on things caled vitrines.Which are a glass cabinets.I think it has a lot to do with what we are doing because it gives us more experience than we started off with and it makes us more smarter.
