Youth Volunteers

What could be more exciting than to have the chance to work with a large group of young men and women who volunteer for the Saint Louis Sciencenter.  This month for the youth volunteers has been a very busy one, our new sessions started Saturday Jan. 12, with a total of 38 teens.  Which has allowed me to add a a third PD training with a waiting list of 16.

The youth volunteers have many opportunities to work with the YES program on projects like Minority Scientists Showcase, H.O.T with Ted Wohlfarth. Higher-Order-Thinking Project the EnTeam Organization which offer activities designed to raise academic achievement by preparing seniors to develoop highter-order thinking skills while working with freshmen students.

We are working the Luner New Year Saturday Feb. 2, 10:00am-4:00pm and Sunday Feb. 3, 12:00pm-4:00pm.  So come out and see the Saint Louis Sciencenter youth volunteers in action:-)
