Team Building

This weeks ice breaker was given to us by Felix, The Trust Line Objective: To line up on a length of duct tape according to a specific criteria without falling off. To make things interesting, each successive round gets harder by not allowing the participants to talk or see. I think this was one of the favorite ice breakers, How do I know? The comments from the volunteers reflections. We once again collaborated with YES Teens in Design-It to complete a team building exercise, and boy was it fun! Brandon the supervisor for Design-It and myself got together to come up with a fun science/math activity that the groups partner on, and Keepin On Track was a good choice. So look for more youth volunteers and YES working together to better our communication skills, leadership skills and community outreach.
