Body Worlds 3 visit
Submitted by Jessica001 on Sat, 12/01/2007 - 1:09pm. City Science
The Body Worlds 3 exhibit is exciting. I've seen many dead people, but none as exciting as those inside. I saw it with my mom and auntie. My mother thought that the BW3 was sickening, but interesting, she got a little queasy. My 89 year old aunt thought it was fabulous to know more about her body. My favorite body was the man hanging his skin up. It was my favorite because I saw the hairs to the skin and I thought it was strange but awesome.

storyboarding
Submitted by Jessica001 on Sat, 12/01/2007 - 1:00pm. City Science
Storyboarding is different. It is exciting, it is something new. The more I storyboard the more I like it. Storyboarding is creating a story into your own words into your life. I am storyboarding on a kid named Bily. Billy has broken his arm. Since he broke his arm he has to learn about the skeletal system, all the joints and the bending and a wending. After Billy has learned about the skeleton system he decides to go on and persue in his life to teach young children about the skeletal system. What a magnificent thing! And that is the end of Billy's story.

CITY SCIENCE PROJECTS FOR THE ARM
Submitted by Jessica001 on Sat, 09/29/2007 - 10:40am. City Science
We made a model of the human arm using household items. I made mine out of a news paper and a rubber glove. The reason i made the arm was to understand how it worked. Next we did a project on on the hand. We found out what the bones in our hands are for. One of the bones in the human hand is the "Phalanges". Phalanges is another way to say fingers. Another thing that we learned about is the upper part of you arm and one of the bones is the "Humerus". The humerus is connected to the shoulder with a ball & socket joint.
