today was good. we learned about how planets do a dobbler effect. we only can see the stars pass by the color of it. also we learned about alien planets. i wonder if anybody else knows what an alien planet is?

I learned that the surface are of the moon is 39.7 million square kilometers. Also that the surface area of the Earth is 510 million square kilometers. The surface are of the moon compared the Earth is 7.4%.http://www.universetoday.com/20489/moon-compared-to-earth/

Today we used our communication skills and used public speaking to rehearse our activities for next Saturday. I think i did good with presenting in from of the group.  

Today was a good day. We looked up constellations besides the zodiac signs. 

Today we learned about the Webb Telescope. It will have 3 mirrors. A secondary and a tertiary mirror. I forgot the name of he third mirror. The model is located in New York because for the World Sience Fair. It was really interesting how the person was tlaking about the testing of the mirrors.

Today i was Libra. I learned that Libra is the only non-living zodiac sign.The word of the the day is declination and it means the angular distance of an object in the sky from the celestial equator. We also we learned about the light spectrum and the three primary colors are red, green, blue. I thought it was red, yellow, and blue...Things change a lot in the world.

Today we learned the distances for the sun and all the planets. Also the asteroid belt. We then watched a video of how close and far away are the planets were from the sun. It was interesting besides the narrator repeating everything almost 3 times. So my day in Astronomy was helpful.
