Summary of the summer

    O my gosh becky the summer was like..... totally fun the kids had a blast!!!!!!!! Well at first when my supervisor said that my group had 5th and 6th graders, I thought we would have a tough group to hang with. But I was wrong.... they were very cooperative and attentative on waht YES had to say. O my gosh Becky I forgot to tell you that I was station at Adams Elementary school. Wow Becky you are really taking me off track!!!! lol Anyways, the kids made numerous project that consisted with the ecosystem and also learned different vocabulary words to help on their MAP test when school starts. As the summer gone by, I could see how smart the kids were and how much knowlege that they encounter from YES being there for a short period of time. I think the most fun and long lasting project that we did was the aquariums/terrarium. In conclusion the summer was fun and I learned alot from the kids and the activities about the ecosystem.
