taking a walk in Forest Park

Today inour group we went over to forest park. First we did this project that we were planing to do for the summer. In this project we measured out a space in paces for our search and find. In between this space we identified two oak trees and a thistle. We also saw like seventeen other flowers.Some of them that we saw are called potentilla, henbit, shepards purse, the honey suckle, and a lot more. The most flowers that I saw were the violets, spring beauty, dandilion, and the potentilla. Some of the trees that we saw were the oak,red bud, witch hazel, dog wood, maple,crab apple,hawthorne, and wesaw pine trees. Out of all of the trees that I saw my favorite trees were the red bud,dogwood,crabapple, and witch hazel. Other thanplants and flowers we also saw a variety of birds. We saw a cardinal, a redwing- blackbird, a robin,a mallard duck, and a grackle.
