Today started slow but it was interesting. Especially the light presentation from the gas tube slides. I also found the exoplanet discovering methods intriguing especially the doppler one.

TODAY WAS INTRESTING. WE LEARNED ABOUT THE DUBBLE AFFECT. AND I LEARNED THAT SOME PLANETS HAVE 2 SUNS AND THEY OPPERATE VERY UNIQUILY. I ALSO LEARNED THAT THE TELESCOPES THEY USE ARE VERY EXPENSIVE.

today was good. we learned about how planets do a dobbler effect. we only can see the stars pass by the color of it. also we learned about alien planets. i wonder if anybody else knows what an alien planet is?

bio buddies where all for going green

today my group bio buddies came up with a product that where planning on sticking with we might call it the Green Safe Oven. for the moment were are only making liquid type products like soups,chip dips, pasta sauces, hot chocolate, coffee, chili and more.We want to go green by using cheaper things for cooking. like ethanol, fryer oil from McDonald's, Churches Chicken. so hopefully it all turns out to be good :)

Today we came to a conclusion of what are going to design. We decided to use the sun as our energy source for our product. One of the videos that was recommended to us by Matt and Jessica, is what gave us the inspiration for our product.

Bio-Buddies and Our Green Safe Oven (GSO)

Today our group decided to work further in our plans about our oven designs. We made a decision was to use types of oils like frying oils. They are easier to obtain since most restaurants try to get rid of them for free. We will then convert it to Bio-ethanol and use it with our bowl shaped design to help heat up such foods as sauces and soups. Later if we work more on oven we could expand the types of food. Our group Bio-buddies is also trying to make a more efficient and earth friendly way of cooking. This oven will be the start and base of our company.

Today we watched a bunch of YouTube videos and we also read a bunch of articles about ways to save and maintain energy. we decided that we want to make a solar cooker but we are trying to make sure we have a backup plan in case that the day it is time to present the sun decides not to come out.

The brain was an exciting experience for me for this to only be my first time. I wish i would had done it last year.The competition was very intense and nerve wrecking. trying to learn all these new facts and plus review information that i had learned from school in my anatomy class.The brain bee brought a new perspective to me on why the brain was so important and made me only want to become a neurosurgeon even more.in case you didn't know yea, that's what i want to be when i grow up.The brain is very important!I've learned so many thing in this completion and i hope that whoever has a chance to be in this competition takes that risk and be in the competition because it its help you grow and learn better as a person. The brain bee is a place to be ! :)
