Well Dooney i appreciate your enthusiam and i'm glad that you're able to find humor in your students.  you'll be surprised how far a few activities and well placed questions we'll get youth with the youth these days (trust me i've seen it in action).  keep up the good work and positive outlook

Dooney, I'm glad that you are enjoying teaching at confluence thus far, and yes the kids know a lot about the information you are teaching them. Continue to keep up the good teaching you have shown and our last weeks should go just fine, and i hope by the end of the summer you can describe your experience as GREAT!!

Just wondering...where does the name Dooney come from? As for the summer it is more than half over so hopefully it IS turning out to be great...How does the experience at EHLA compare the experience at Confluence Academy so far? What has been your best moment teaching this summer? What have you found the most challenging? One more question...you mentioned you have a lot of kids of different races. Have you had the opportunity to go to school in an environment like this? How do you think this impacts the students?
