Welcome to the College Prep blog. Preparing for life beyond high school begins early in the YES program, with College Prep activities integrated into all components of YES. Admission into college involves more than just filling out applications and being successful after high school takes more than just doing well on tests. While in the College Prep program, YES teens engage in activities such as preparing to take the ACT College Entrance exam, examining the resources necessary to be successful beyond high school, and taking personality and career interest tests. Teens also interact with college students and meet with professionals in various fields to gain insight on what it really takes to get a degree and enter professional careers.
