 Aquariums and thereriums

 

today was a great day one of the best i have ever experienced while here simply because we got the kids full attention today we did not have to discipline anyone. We thought the kids about a butterflys lifecycle the kids were really interested in it we made caterpillars out of egg cartons and we are going to make the buterflys out of black paper.

Today in lab these group members Kevin, Carnekia, Kyle and Cherelle we observed how pectin can be used to form a gel and the effects of too little and too much sugar on gelling. We used concentrated apple juice, sugar, water, 600-milliter beakers, and other measuring utensils.We used thses materials to make three different jelly solutions. After the experiment was done the solution with the most sugar made the thckest jelly

this is how we started out a nice good burger then suddenly  it turned into a hidious hairy object that seemed to look like mold. well guess what it is mold. right now we are experimenting the facts of mold and how it forms i am not really going to tell you the details but know it is going to be fun experiment!!!!!!!!!!!!!
