Chasity Culberson, 2002

Chastity graduated from the YES program in 2002. She is currently in her last semester of college at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. She will be recieveing a bachelors degree in elementary education and a certification to teach K-8 upon her graduation in the spring. After graduation she plans to continue her education at UMSL to recieve a masters degree in reading education. She plans to eventually pursue a career as a reading specialist teacher. While in college, Chastity has continued to stay heavily involved with the YES program. She has worked for the past four summers as a staff supervisor, overseeing the duties of the current YES program participants.
