Ames Rules !!!

      Hi my name is Alonzo . And this will be my first year in the program . Its fun and it is a good enxperience. I personally work in the Ames Elementary School. I teach the kindergarden, first, second, and third graders. They  all seem to talk to much  but when i really think about it I was the same way probably when i was in the first and second grade. I personally think that it is more fun to teach the youger kids because they basically dont know anythig so you can tell then amost anything and they will believe you . Most of the kids that are in my groups are good except for in the preschool class there is one girl that is annoyi8ng.  But what can i really expect. In the other grades the kids are pertty good i just dont like the fact that the teachers have to be in the class while we are teaching . It just feels like we are being watched. 
     My supervisor ( Jessica ) is really fun to work with  She works with us and tries to not make the college prep so boring . it works some times and doesnt work other times. I am enjoying the summer so far and hopefully i will enjoy it for much longer . Well in the last couple of weeks we have built terrierums and we have been dealing with ecology and things that fall in that field . I enjoy teaching it because it isnt one of those things that is too difficult for them to grasp to but it isnt too hard to explain either. I think the kids enjoy it and are benefitting from it . We had planned on taking the kids out on a nature walk around the school grounds and across the street. 
      The program is  good and i think that more people shoudl have the opportunity to do it .

So I'm glad  you're not always finding the College Prep activities boring. I try. :) I can imagine it's hard to relate being a Sophomore, but trust me when I say this information will come in handy. You just hold on to it and someday you can pull out that trusty ol' College Plan notebook and you'll say to yourself, "Self...I'm so glad I sat there and just really absorbed all that Jessica had to say about college. I'm so prepared now. And man, was she cool!" Okay, well maybe you won't say all that haha! but thanks for being so patient with everything. You're really good with the kids, even the one(s) that might annoy you. have a great day today! Jess

well I try my best to keep my cool even when I really don't want to. and about the college preop... I'm syre that it will be some good to use one day. well, be sure to replyy!
