Today we went over to the main building and saw the Hurricane On The Bayou movie in the OMNIMAX Theater. IT was  good . And once we got done with that we got to spend an hour or so in the Science Center. It was fun . Yesterday was our last official day teaching at ames. It was fun though, we went outside with one of the classes and played with bubbles. It was a wind activity and i think they really enjoyed it and we had them do a kind of competition where you see who can blow the biggest bubble and what not. It was a fun last day in my opinion.

What's good my people. It has been a real experience working with these kids this summer . We have all leard many things about our selves and about the kids that we work with. This was a good experience for me . Even though it was slow at times we all had fun. Even when we were doing the boring College prep we still some timws had fun. I hope to be able to come in again next year and work through the summer. It was Fun.

This week has Been good for the most part. we have been wrappinng up our lessons with the kids since we are getting close to the end of the summer. The kids here at ames are all, well for the most part, well behaved. but there always has to be the few Bad people in tha group. but for the most part they are cool.We went over to the 5050 building (science center ) today and got our I.d. pictures taken, after that, we got to look around in the different areas and different models and all the cool stuff in the buildinng. It was fun and I would go back if I had the chance. honestly I might be coming back over the river this weekend but im not absolutely sure what we are doing. Well, that is all I have to write for righht now but I will be adding more later

This is my second post now and not much has been really happening since my last pose except for the fact that we had this Barbacue and it wuz too nice of them to do that and then they took us to the zoo. I think the Kids that we teach at AMES would have really enjoyed it. Especially the Penguin house. that was my favorite part in the zoo. I saw a lot of animals that I hadn't seen in a long time . I would take them if I could but I can't so ... yeah. Well as us YES teens we have been workiing on COllege prep and have also been doing a lot of planning for the classes that we teach . ITz fun so f

      Hi my name is Alonzo . And this will be my first year in the program . Its fun and it is a good enxperience. I personally work in the Ames Elementary School. I teach the kindergarden, first, second, and third graders. They  all seem to talk to much  but when i really think about it I was the same way probably when i was in the first and second grade. I personally think that it is more fun to teach the youger kids because they basically dont know anythig so you can tell then amost anything and they will believe you . Most of the kids that are in my groups are good except for in the preschool class there is one girl that is annoyi8ng.  But what can i really expect.
