Today we tried to see if we could cover a whole person in a bubble. The person had to stand in a swimming pool full of soap and water and use a hoola hoop to cover them with a bubble. The experiment was eventually a success

 

Today we did an experiment about chemical and physical change. The experiment consisted of us mixing eggs, sugar, baking powder which once cooked made pretty good cookies.

Today we had to give our presentation on what we did last week which our activity was bubble cups. It did not go exactly as expected but decent

Today we had to work on a project involving bubbles. The assignment was to teach all the different ways you can make bubbles out of house hold supplies.

I think that the networking event was a good experience. It introduced the YES TEENS to a lot of people that could help them. I personally was introduced to a representative from Harris Stowe College that had contacts with basketball scouts. 

I think that the YES program is a good experience for me as far as work goes. My co-workers are really easy to get along wth. The kids that I teach are really cool. Its good to teach others science and to get paid for it.
