So today starts the count down of the end of the program. It was very fun while it lasted and I met a lot of new people. This program taught me a lot of new things about science, and I learned how to teach it to others. Today we are finishing up our video production. I can't wait til that's over because it takes for every to edit!

Yesterday, we did a new experiment that involved making plastic. We mixed together different variations of corn starch, water and oil. We put these things in plastic bags and placed them in the microwave. Some of the experiments turned out great, and others not too great. In all, it was a fun project.

Yesterday was my first visit to Cabanne library. The kids were sooooooo excited to learn how to create their own slime. We had to teach 40 kids, and it was very hectic. They were loud and all over the place. Even though there were only 4 of us teens there, I think we handled ourselves well. Today we are suppose to make plastic, that sounds kind of fun.

Hello..... I have not been here in a while because I was sick :( , so I don't really know what we're doing today. I haven't been to the new libraries yet so I don't know if that was fun or not. I hope we're learning something new today.! Ahh guess that's all for today... BYE :)

Hello, I was not here Tuesday, so I cannot write about the experiment they did. I think it had something to do with methanol. Hopefully I'll get to see how the experiment works because it sounds fun. :)

Yesterday we filmed the video for dark science. We got through everything quickly and was able to start editing. Authority started the editing on the slime video while the rest of us put the finishing touches on dark science. Our group is moving along pretty swiftly and we're getting along too. Today we are going to read science articles and give some critical feed back on it. After lunch, we will finish both videos and then use the rest of the time for team building. Today is going to be a laid back day which is much needed on a hot day like this. ~107 degrees.!!!! :(

Yesterday we recalled all the things we learned about dark science. We are going to make a video about the different liquids you can mix to make it glow. Today we are going to record the steps, and then edit it along with the slime video we did last week. So far the projects that we've done are becoming easier to teach, and also fun. :)
