Supervisor Scam!

Today in our component our evil supervisor filled us up with calories. They made it seem like we were eating a healthy snack, Trail Mix to be exact and after we all ate some of the trail mix they told us that there were 800 calories in our bowl, of which I ate 500. Some people ate two bowls which was enough calories for the day. Those evil supervisors. I knew it was to goo to be true, Free food. They did give us a great alternative for soda today. They gave us these Singles to go which are only 10 calories, which is a great alternative for soda and its good.

Today in Healthy Teen Healthy living we were informed about alcohol and the effect it has on your body. I learned that drinking makes your brain smaller. After we were done with the discussion we made eally cool postive drinking posters that stated the fact.

Ideas for Compton Drew.

Im thinking of ides I can do next time Compton Drew comes to or Healthy Teen Healthly Living. Our objective is to teach them how eating healthy and getting daily exercise is important.

Im considering using a Mc. Donalds menu I picked up from Mc. Donalds last week. On the menu is everything they sell and how many calories, fats, carbohydrates and ect. is in each item. Including drinks, ketchep packs and other condiments.

I want the kids to tell me what they would order when the go to Mc.Donalds. Once they have made their order I will add up how much calories in what they order and see if they can pick what they think is healthy and compare the two choices.

Once they are done comparing what they would order and what they tthink s healthy I will go over what is really healthy and what they should consider ordering next time they go to Mc. Donalds.

IS TECHNOLGHY WRONG?

Today in collage prepartory we were asked do we think technolgy is to advanced. We were given an article to read "Drunk driver gets into more trouble after posting Facebook photo". The article was about a teen girl that was drinking and driving. Due to her actions her boyfriend was killed in a car accicident they had because of those actions.

The girl was then pleded guity to criminally negligent homicide and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. A month after the crash she posted a photo on Facebook Web page captioned "Drunk in Florida". Due to those actions her pinishment was was more time in jail and more time on Probation. Just because of the photo on she posted on facebook.

I really think she got what she really needed "More time". I think it was okay to increase her time beacause she hadn't learned her lesson. A month afeter the accident she back drinking. I really dont think she learned a lesson.

Some people disagreed with the photo that was found on Facebook. They said it was invading her personal space. I disagree, Anything that you post on the internet you know its no longer private and can be seen by anyone. So i strongly disagree with them saying its invading her space. I do not think it was wrong to look on her Facebook and find that she was still dinking not caring that those are the actions that killed her boyfriend.
