bubbles bruh !

Today, we worked with bubbles, Cauldron bubbles, to be exact. The materials we used are -clear cup, -water, -oil, -salt, -food coloring. We filled half a cup up full of water and tried our own experiment with the rest of the materials. It was fun and some people saw something new that they never saw before. We used to do this type of stuff in elementary school. The food coloring seperates the different materials used in the experiment. It also makes it more interesting and a better viewing site.

This was a really great experience. I feel even more comfortable with entering the medical field. When I graduate from college, I would like to become a chiropractor. NOSA had a good presentation and let me know exactly what they stood for and what they do. I didn't know who they were or had never heard of them beforehand. I'm glad they came, so I could ask questions about why they entered the field they entered, what under-grad school they went to, and how the experience was.

Today, during College Prep, we discussed names. What is the origin of our names and what do they mean? I couldn`t find what my first name and last names meant, but I did find what my middle name meant. Danielle means judged by God. I thought that was really interesting to find out. We also discussed how do different cultures name their children. The culture I have to research was the Russians. The Russians name their children by first name ..middle name (father`s name) , last name (family name).

Today, we went to Home Depot to look at our items we need. Since, I am a financial planner I recorded all the objects and the prices of them. It is very convenient to have the planner book. Home Depot is a very good place to go if you need to re-decorate, fix up any kind of building, or whatever project you have. Really if Home Depot doesn't have what you are looking for, then you might be out of luck!

Desmond and I forgot our list him and Meesa went over, so we looked for items off the top of our brain and we asked Meesa for some help. Two of the items I recorded are foam wrap and glow in the dark paint. I'm not going to tell you everything, but give you a little taste.l0L:D

Today, our guest speaker came back.

We had a great time playing a game.

We played pretend that we were in space and had to find a space crater, while staying connected to our oxygen source, which was a tube touching the wall.

We had fun, even though we messed up once because we had come unconnected.

We broke up into our site and role groups and discussed what we were doing and what we had came up with from the last week.

Lance will be here next week to help us once again in our role groups.

My role is a financer.

..Well, i don't really know where to start. It feels as if i haven't blogged in a long time. Today, we had a guest, Lorienne, and she is a professor at one of my supervisor's college. We did something different and we worked in our role groups. My role is a financer. Then, towards the end of the day, we worked in our partnership groups. My site is at Herbert Hoover(Adams Park). That just about sums the day up, in my perspective.

Well today we had a speaker come in and talk to us. He was an architect and told us about he was the one to map out the Taylor Building. He was the one to plan everything out. He taught us about the skylights in the building and the different filters that change the color of the light that shines through the light tube. I was working with Ariel and Matthew on the senior trip information.

Today, was cool. Laron and I worked together in a group. We did a project about our different community groups. Laron and I did a project about working with Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club, on the Adams Park division. We created a logo and a slogan and made a poster. Pretty fun stuff! ;)

Learning Places is a cool place to be and there's no other group I would rather be in.(Literally).
